Mommies, please help me select perfume for my wife....?

Wrong category, but you ladies give the best answers - I wish there were a site that could provide recommendations based on perfumes one likes and doesn't like. Here's what I know - Liz Claiborne (triangle bottle) is her favorite. She also wears Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. We smelt a ton of stuff recently, didn't like any of Gwen Stefani stuff. Didn't like anything Marc Jacobs, Ricci. Thought she might like Ralph Lauren Romance but didn't. Sort of liked Light Blue and really liked Ed Hardy by Ed Hardy. Now I'm faced with "Buy what you like on me..." Please provide a suggestion based on these likes and dislikes. Another dislike - I once bought original Paris Hilton and she never used it. THANKS!

I worked for a few years at Sears as a Fragrances consultant. Based on what you've said, she seems to lean more towards the spicier scents and not the airy, light, sweet scents, am I right? What did she think of Obsession? If that's a bit harsh, there's another, lighter version called Sheer Obsession. I love Coco Mademoiselle and I like to wear Sheer Obsession too.

Other ones she might like are Beautiful by Estee Lauder, and Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior.

But if she likes Liz Claiborne and you know she'd use it, why get her another perfume she may potentially not wear?

Also, remember that due to a person's body chemistry, what a fragrance smells like in a bottle may not smell the same on her. If you don't want to get her what you know she likes, you should head back to testing new fragrances.
